Ratings & Reviews Summary in Vermont

AI ReviewAI Generated Review Summary

Fishing in Vermont offers diverse angling opportunities from Lake Champlain's deep waters to classic rivers like the Battenkill, Walloomsac, and Hoosic. Anglers target lake trout exceeding 13 pounds using jigging and trolling techniques, while fly fishers pursue rainbow and brown trout in pristine rivers. Bow fishing adventures under lights provide exciting alternative experiences for those seeking something different from traditional angling methods. Guides consistently demonstrate deep local knowledge and patient teaching abilities, making trips productive for beginners and experienced anglers alike. Families find the atmosphere welcoming and educational, with many guests catching trophy-sized fish including brown trout over 20 inches. The combination of scenic beauty and reliable fishing success creates memorable experiences that keep visitors returning to Vermont's waters year after year.

He took us to all the best spots and we caught more fish than I ever thought possible. He was also very knowledgeable when it came to giving us tips on how to catch fish. We had a great time out there and I would highly recommend him as your go-to charter captain!
