My son and I had an incredible time fishing at the lake with Capt. Jesse. We each reached our limit before 10:00 AM and even had extra time to try for catfish. Although we didn’t catch any catfish this time, the experience was fantastic, and we even wrapped up an hour early. Capt. Jesse’s expertise made the trip smooth and enjoyable, and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a great fishing adventure.

Jesse took us out when our deep-sea trip canceled due to the hurricane, even though he had already guided one group that day. He worked hard to get us on the fish even though it was a slow bite, and we ended up with some nice keeper reds, some really nice channel cats, and a whole bunch of undersized reds that were fun to catch anyway. It was a great afternoon for a super reasonable price! If you’re looking for good fishing action in a wholesome, family-friendly environment, Jesse is your man. 👍🏻

We encountered Jose at the dock bright and early, and he was already prepared for our excursion. He greeted us warmly and outlined his strategy for the day. We began by trolling, though our catches were modest. Transitioning to bottom fishing near the dam, our luck improved, yielding more success. Throughout our journey, we experienced a mix of weather, from sunshine to rain and even hail. As storm clouds gathered, we made the prudent decision to return home upon hearing thunder. Despite the varied conditions, it was an enjoyable trip, and I look forward to booking with Jose again on my next visit!
