Fishing Charters in West Bay, Cyprus

My son and I chose this trip for a few simple reasons. We wanted a hands-on fishing style, casting and retrieving instead of slow trolling for a single big fish. Our goal was to bring home fresh dinner, and that’s exactly what we did. The captain knew the right spots, and each drift along the reef gave us steady action and great catches. We also wanted a private experience, just the two of us with the captain. He was easy to talk to and shared interesting stories about Cayman history, his life, and his family. By the end of the trip, it felt like more than just fishing. We left with a better understanding of the islands and their culture. To top it off, the captain recommended a local restaurant that prepared our catch perfectly and guided us on the best way to have it cooked. It was one of the best fishing trips we’ve had. Great fishing, great company, and a memorable day all around.

Derren communicated well before the trip and delivered a great charter. He worked hard to get fish on the line, even though the bites were slow. He moved us around the bay, and my son caught several fish. When we returned to the dock, he prepared fillets for us to take home for dinner. Great experience, great crew, and a great time!
