My dad and my brothers had a fantastic day out on the boat with Montie. It was a beautiful day and the weather was absolutely perfect. Montie was a wonderful guide and very helpful for all our fishing questions and needs. He knew all of the good spots in the river so that we all could have a great time! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do some fishing but with the assistance of a guide.

We had a great time with Captain James on the Big Manistee. He came prepared with a variety of lures and bait to give us the best chance at landing steelhead. He was personable, patient, and easy to talk to, always explaining what we were doing and why. As an experienced angler, I appreciated the detail, and my wife, who’s newer to fishing, felt comfortable and involved the whole time. Overall, it was a really enjoyable trip for both of us.
