Fishing Charters in Michigan, United States

Thanks, Jon, for the fun morning fishing in St. Joseph!

I went on a 6 hour fishing trip with my two brothers and my young nephew and it was an amazing experience. We had a great time being on the water and catching fishing. We also learned so much from Captain Ryan. He taught us so much about the different types of fish and different techniques used to catch the different fish. And the first mate Sawyer did a great job showing us how to bring in the fish and taught us all about river fishing. We are definitely making this a regular trip. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this to anyone interested in enjoying nature and being around good people.

My dad and my brothers had a fantastic day out on the boat with Montie.  It was a beautiful day and the weather was absolutely perfect. Montie was a wonderful guide and very helpful for all our fishing questions and needs.  He knew all of the good spots in the river so that we all could have a great time! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do some fishing but with the assistance of a guide.

Had great trip with rodney got use on some kings highly recommended if we can will be booking again with him thanks again

Outstanding charter with Captain Larry Buckle and Fish Patroll! We had a perfect outing with Fish Patroll out of Manistee. Captain Larry and his first mate were absolutely top-notch from start to finish. We left the dock at 4:30 a.m. on August 17th for a reason—the fishing reports had been excellent, and we were hoping for a great day. By 5:30 we were in about 70 feet of water north of the lighthouse, still within sight of land thanks to the beautiful weather. The seas had 3–4 foot rollers that didn’t bother me, though the younger veterans from the city (our crew for the day) spent a fair amount of time “chumming” over the side of the beautiful Tiara we were on. By 5:45 the captain and first mate already had 13 rods in the water, trolling north at a steady 2.4 mph. At 6:30 everything started going off. We finished the morning with 17 fish on, landing 13 in the box. Everyone on board had three or four solid fights along the way. Captain Larry mentioned he’d recently had a couple of 18-fish days and typically averages 10–12 fish on his half-day and night trips. If you’re looking for as close to a guaranteed, cleaned, take-home catch as you can get on Lake Michigan, book Fish Patroll. You won’t be disappointed!
