Capt. Joe took my Papa and me out for a fishing trip this Veterans Day, and it was unforgettable. He helped my Papa land the biggest fish he’s ever caught, along with plenty more. From the first cast to the last, we were on the fish nonstop. What an incredible experience! I’m so grateful to Joe for honoring veterans in such a special way. It was a pleasure meeting him, sharing stories, and laughing all morning. We’ll definitely be back for another trout slam fest—Joe knows the Niagara like the back of his hand!

It was an amazing day on the water. Hayden had me on fish all day landing big browns and salmon. He zeros me in on the proper egg patterns and tuned my presentation to perfection. Just ask the bystanders as they were shaking their heads fish after fish. Hayden was very professional and knowledgeable and even took time to help some younger anglers on the river. Simply amazing!!!

Best charter fishing experience ever! We took our teenage grandsons out with 716 Charters and couldn’t be happier with the choice. The captain and crew worked hard the entire trip, and it definitely paid off — while other boats were struggling, we were reeling in fish. In fact, two other captains even called ours to ask if we were having any luck! We went out the first week of October hoping to catch salmon on Lake Ontario — mission accomplished!

We went out yesterday with Captain Mark and first mate Joe, and it was an excellent day on the water. I had my three sons with me, and not only did we catch our limit of Walleye, but we also learned so much about fishing, Lake Erie, and even weather patterns. Mark’s knowledge is impressive, and both he and Joe were patient and engaging with the kids. They filleted our catch, took the time to show my sons how to clean the fish, and even suggested a few delicious ways to prepare it—which we tried that evening. The best part was how enjoyable they were to spend the day with; great guys who clearly love what they do. We’ll definitely be back next year—thank you for an unforgettable trip!

We had an excellent full-day trip with Rod Benders Charters. The boat was beautiful, well-equipped, and the captain and first mate worked hard the entire time. I asked to focus on King Salmon, and they delivered. We landed some great kings and a bonus steelhead too. They really know their stuff and make the experience memorable.
