Fish Pit Charters was the perfect choice for our small group. Captain Todd had us on the fish right away and knew several productive spots close together, which kept the action steady throughout the trip. We quickly caught our limit of striped bass and enjoyed trying different fishing techniques along the way. Todd shared plenty of helpful tips and made the experience both fun and educational. We highly recommend Fish Pit Charters and look forward to fishing with them again.

My husband, my daughter and I (all beginner fisherman and fisherwomen) had a wonderful fishing time on the board of Reel Steel. Captain JD and Mary were helpful, very kind and fun guides. We got the necessary information ahead, and the whole trip was well organized. We definitely received good starting instructions and came home with the files of 4 nice sized sheep fish that we caught in the Bay. Can’t wait to taste the dish we will prepare from them tonight! Reply: Hi Captain JD, There was no major issue with the boat for us at all (I wish I could select 4.9 for the boat). We felt your boat was very comfortable and safe. The only thing that I thought would make the boat even better is a little shade . I did not felt our 3 hrs trip uncomfortable, but if it was longer -or the day was hotter- I could appreciate a small cool down area on such beautiful sunny day. Thanks again for the great fishing experience!

Had an awesome time on the Liza Rey with Captain Jeff. It was our first time on a charter in OC Maryland, and my wife, son, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day! Jeff is an amazing guide/ captain, knowledgeable, proficient, and down to earth. We loved that it was exclusive, and not elbow, to elbow. The Liza Rey had plenty of room for the four of us, absolutely comfortable. Will be booking a fall 2024 trip for some stripers, and hopefully, another early summer trip in 2025. If you want good company and professionalism, Sick Day Fishing is the way to go! Thanks for a great time, Captain Jeff.
