Nighttime tarpon fishing with Captain John was an enjoyable experience. Despite challenging conditions following the storm, Captain John proved to be an excellent companion for the endeavor. Despite adverse weather, we achieved a few successful hookups, ultimately reeling in two tarpons. The short trip turned out to be perfect, offering a satisfying and memorable fishing excursion.

Despite less-than-ideal conditions for fish bites on that particular day, he skillfully located productive spots and guided us to catch several yellowtail snapper and mahi. His patience with my 20-year-old daughter was remarkable, as he not only provided guidance but also shared enough fishing tricks for her to outfish her old man. We extend our gratitude to Captain John, and we look forward to booking another trip with him the next time we find ourselves in Key West.
